A Little About Us

Our Mission is simple...

"To help those touched by the abortion experience find peace and victory from the past! "

and

"Increase abortion awareness, and the impact left on individuals and families, through public education!"

Our Passion is...

  • Peace... to calm the heart, release the mind, free the soul and refresh the spirit.  (John 14:27)
  • Victory... over the emotional, physical and spiritual pain people may have experienced with post-abortion stress/trauma.

Our Principles are:

  • We enjoy "holding hands" with those wishing to find the peace and victory described above.
  • We treat clients with unconditional love and acceptance, meeting you where you are, and being able to listen without judgment.
  • We believe that all unborn children return to Heaven (Psalm 27:10).
  • We believe it is by God's gift of grace that we are forgiven.
  • Our services are personal and confidential.
  • We hold client information in the strictest of confidence.  Only when required by law will information be disclosed to protect the client and others.
  • We will not discriminate based on race, creed, color, origin, age, disability, marital or financial status.

Stacy found her "personal peace" from the guilt, grief and shame she experienced as an abortion affected woman, 23 years after the fact. Stacys' life was changed so much by the abortion recovery experience, that she then became compassionate toward sharing that tranquillity with others. She founded Abortion Recovery Counseling to help post-abortive women, men and their families.  A.R.C., partners with Southern California churches, women's health centers, maternity homes, Orange County resource agencies and other abortion recovery agencies across the United States and abroad.

Stacy is also the President and Founding Partner of the Abortion Recovery International Network.  A.R.I.N. is the first affiliate organization dedicated to connecting like-minded abortion recovery programs around the world.  This agency has developed the first online directory solely committed to listing abortion recovery programs world-wide.  A.R.I.N. initiated Abortion Recovery Awareness Month, which takes place in April each year, to enlighten society to the stress and trauma that is often felt by abortion affected women, men and their families.  See their programs at: www.abortionrecovery.org.  Keep a look out for information on the first AWAREness Walk in 2007/2008!

Stacy assists in the design and development of new cutting edge post-abortion programs, to include, but not be limited to, networking with licensed therapists and mental health professionals, lay counselors, life coaches, mentors, church programs, bereavement and grief counselors.  In addition to uniting, and mentoring, post abortion recovery programs, Stacy speaks as a research and educational resource providing information on the aftermath of abortion. She has a B.S. degree in Counseling Psychology and a minor in Human/Child Development.  She is a certified Sexual Health Educator and is slowly working on her graduate degree.  She has partnered with Masters’ International School of Divinity to create the first-ever degree programs (certificate, bachelors) in Abortion Recovery Counseling. (See  http://www.mdivs.edu/lifeissuescounseling.html  for further info.)

When she's not running A.R.I.N., or A.R.C., she is providing health and character classes to middle and high school students as well as speaking at colleges/universitities.  If not there, look closely and you might find her on the sidelines of the disc golf course, playing "cheerleader" to her 19 year old son.  Her life is blessed beyond belief!

The palm frond/tree is symbolic of "peace and victory"! (The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree -Psalm 92:12) Palm trees are known for their long life.  To flourish like a palm tree means to stand tall and live long. They are strong, upright and unmoved by the winds of circumstance.  (And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Rev.22:2)
