Abortion, without a doubt, can be one of the most
traumatic experiences in a person's life. The loss of
pregnancy through abortion may be far in your past, but the memories
remain. You, the father, or other
family members may feel like emotions are crashing down on
you. You may feel as if your head is stuck in the sand. Please
know that you are NOT an island, and are NOT alone! In
many cases, the pain of loss may initially be buried, and may
surface in relationship difficulties, depression or physical,
psychological or spiritual problems.
Abortion Recovery
Counseling is here to reach out to men, women, siblings,
grandparents or anyone else that might be hurting psychologically,
physically or spiritually due to an abortion. We acknowledge
that this pain may not be recognized by other family members,
friends or by society. We KNOW the emotions exist, because
we've experienced them personally!
In the 1800's George William Curtis wrote, "I
think that to have known one good old man - one man who, through the
chances and rubs of a long life, has carried his heart in his hand,
like a palm branch, waving all discord
into peace, helps our faith in God, in ourselves and in each other,
more than many sermons."
We
love the thought of a persons' heart outstretched like a palm
branch! Peace would be such an incredible gift to wave
over our broken hearts, hectic lives
and fractious world. If only a swish of a palm frond
would bring about a personal sense of calm.
Abortion Recovery Counseling would like
to wave this spirit of peace, by extending a palm branch to
YOU!
This
personal type of peace we know first hand can heal
our internal brokenness, repair relationships and bring us
into intimate friendships. It give us a new beginning in life
following an abortion. It changes the tides of our lives! This
is the peace we all hunger for in the deepest part of our
hearts.

YOU! Remember that whatever is UNconfessed is beyond the reach
of healing!
